What seemed to good to be true, wasn’t

I blame you guys at booking more than the staff at hotel. You had a line in Select a room just under breakfast included that said $33 board for my room and half board on some of others. Discussed this with desk person and figured that meant I could use that at one of their 3 Restaurants. Of course, very unlike me I opted for the gourmet dining and when I went to desk in morning was told I owed them the money. After wasting precious time arguing (in a nice way) I end up paying and nobody knows what the hell it meant with the $33 or half board! I’d like to have sent booking the bill because I would not of had the fancy dinner except I thought it was included even though it was a good meal!

Very clean Breakfast had a lot to choose from. Never disappointed here

The spa is very weak. My wife is short and couldn’t do the pools in the spa. Not worth if you short. Can only do sauna or Turkish sauna. Not worth the extra value that you pay

Incredible Island

It was just fabulous!We would go back in a heartbeat! Everything was beautiful ️ We were given complimentary coffee tea biscuits chocolate and water in our room.The situation was wonderful with views of the sea and surrounding countryside.Unfortunately, when we went out for an ice-cream to the little commercial centre my husband had a bad fall and had to be taken to the main land in an ambulance as he cut his head open . Every one was so kind, and helpful.Adrian on reception arranged for ice for the wound, extra towels, water to drink, the housekeeping was so kind, concerned and helpful.The buffet breakfast was amazing

We loved the location of the hotel on the sea front. Our room was very comfortable with a superb view across the bay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It was excellent value for money and a lovely place to spend the night while exploring the Rias Baixas.

A hotel in paradise 2024

We found this amazing paradise across the water from o grove. What can I say it was simply sensational excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it for a stay. The food is excellent both for breakfast and an evening meal The wine and vodka are cheap as chips compared to Ireland. Comfy beds, clean room with a gorgeous view of the water An excellent stay and the weather was fab too

No balcony but that was a minor technical hitch and not a complaint

Excellent. Couldn't fault it.

Excellent quiet location. Lovely hotel almost on the beach! Fabulous breakfast. Spotlessly clean.

Access to sauna was long winded and expensive. Had to book through third party. Got charged extra for disposable slippers etc. Price for sauna went up to €20 at the weekend.

Exceptional

We stayed here during a major wind and rain storm. The waves outside our window were amazing. Even though the hotel is on the inlet and not directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the view of the water was stunning. The room was large and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, especially in the midst of the storm. There were several restaurants just 2km away in a picturesque little fishing village. Galicia Spain is a seldom visited secret and the Isla de la Toja is magical.

Lovely hotel in a piece of paradise.

A lovely hotel in an idyllic location. Even though we stayed during particularly bad weather the fact that we were staying in such a lovely hotel made up for it. Ideal for exploring the surrounding region, beautiful seaside villages, the Rias Baixas, lovely coastal walks and Santiago, Pontevedra,Vigo and much more all within an hour’s drive. Loved the place and staff were really pleasant.

Light, airy, smart, comfortable hotel right by the sea

Great airy hotel, super breakfast. Location right by the sea, big bedroom windows to maximise the view. Very comfortable bed, light room, all facilities, great shower, no bath.

The hotel was super, the island itself lacked things to do like tennis or hiring a boat. The commercial centre looked dowdy and wasn’t smart.

Beautiful setting, lovely hotel, excellent staff. A massage worth paying the price of a room alone.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is lovely on the inlet where we swam throughout the stay. The hotel is not good looking from the outside but does not disappoint inside. It is clean and smart and very comfortable. The pool is saltwater so when we didn't feel like the sea we had a swim in there. The pool area is lovely with palm tress looking out over the inlet. I had the most wonderful massage. I have had many massages over the years, at home and in hotels. This was without one of the best I have ever had. Despite the language barrier she was brilliant. I would go back for the at alone. All the staff were charming and helpful.

We ate the first night in the restaurant of the hotel which in our guide had said was one of the best on the island. It was not great with poor flavours and very expensive. However, the following two nights we ate in the bar and had superb food which was brilliant value and very good quality. Not fine dining but good quality ingredients well prepared.

Exotic, comfortable, relaxing. Mussel cruise. One night not enough.

Super location. Easy parking right outside front door. Large room and excellent bathroom with huge ,and powerful, walk-in shower. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Attentive service. Good bar and barman mixing excellent drinks. Definitely take " mussel cruise" . Boat, wine with refills, water, Baileys type liqueur and as many mussels as you can eat in 90 mins - All for 18 Euros per head.

Super great we will be back

Bed was super comfortable such as the rest of the room, staff doesn’t really speak anything else than Spanish but always try to help and massage was awesome

By the pool, you must go to the bar to get something to drink, perhaps it would be great if the waiters do a tour to take orders
